Diamonds Found On Martha's Vineyard. Updated!
To this rock hound, this is, the find of a life time. This tops the dinosaur I found in Alberta in 1974, when I was 14.
I was on my the way to the compost pile on my micro farm on Martha’s Vineyard when diamond fire struck me in the eye. I know what diamond fire in raw, uncut diamonds looks like because my Canadian family are rock, arrow head and dinosaur bone hounds. To my amazement, it turned out to be a very large diamond. Literally the next day I found another, not as big but very impressive.
I took the rocks the inside the house and I scratch a tempered glass pot lid. They both gouged deep cuts into the tempered glass without sustaining any damage at all. When I cleaned both of them, I could see a great deal more fire.
I now have an approximate estimate of the carats of the large one above. It is approximately 266 carats uncut. The house that cuts this diamond will decide their target carat size to go to market with.
You can see the fire glint off of this one.

This happened six years ago as my wife and I were separating. I live in Canada now and am ready to market these two rocks to the highest bidder. If you want to assay the stones in person with your own independent assay, I am taking appointments now. All appointments will take place at my bank.
You can contact me at lloydhart2008@gmail.com or you can send an appointment request to 301-1895 Powell St. Vancouver, BC V5L 1H8.
P.S. I am also looking for a mining outfit that specializes in low impact gem extraction to partner with.
